Agreement, 1655, July 4. 14 Charles II.

Agreement between Henry, marquis of Dorchester and earl of Kingston, William Colgrave, and Henry Savage on the one part; and William Burnett of Staple Inn (London), gentleman, on the other: witnessing that the first party have assigned to the said William Burnett all those sums of money due to them from the manor of Kneton (Yorks.), alias Kneeton, and in Middleton Tyas (Yorks.), with appointment of William Burnett himself as their attorney to recover such sums and his own charges. Also, the said marquis for himself and for his heirs does covenant to produce an indenture of lease relating to the premises aforesaid, dated 19 january 1630, made by Marmaduke Franck to Robert, earl of Kingston, deceased, with an assignment thereof dated 5 November 1647.
